About this Workout

The cardio-leg workout is a great Saturday workout because typically you have more time and going to the gym on a beautiful Saturday is not my idea of a good time. It is much more energizing being outside.

Training Recommendations

The run is your call, but I would suggest 2-minute runs with a 1-minute rest x 8 rounds.

Leg Workout Recommendations

Work Set Time: 45 seconds

Rest Between Sets: 15 seconds

# Of Total Sets Per Round: 5

# Of Exercises Alternated Through Per Round: 5

# Of Recommended Rounds: 2

(Rounds can always be modified based on time available)


  1. Front Squats
  2. Split Squat Left
  3. Split Squat Right
  4. Straight Leg Deadlifts
  5. Lateral Hops
