I’ll be 69 in Sept, I teach PE to 3rd thru 8th graders and play soccer a few times each week with men my age.
After my knee replacement rehab I needed something to rebuild my strength and mobility. Web searches for exercises for men over 60 produced very little. I discovered bands and really found them to be the best workout equipment for me. I have a room in my home with the bands and a post with eye hooks.
Then I discovered your program. That took me over the top. I use your exercises and read your encouraging emails. Having so many exercises to choose from is really good for someone like me. I feel great, my mobility at soccer has never been better (since hitting 65). I continue to teach and coach because I can.
Also: I had prostate cancer diagnosed in 2009. For the last few years it’s been kept in check by Hormone therapy. (3 to 6 months out of the year) It works, but side effects include weight gain and muscle loss. So that’s added pressure to continue working on strength and mobility exercises. It works; the band exercises keep me in my best shape and during the months I’m on the therapy I don’t miss a beat..
Keep up the good work; putting out the videos and the encouragement. I’m sure there’s a lot of folks like me out there.
