Summer Band Workout Ideas

RBT Band Training
When summer is here, the last place you or your clients want to train is indoors. We have 10 Summer Band Workout Ideas for you to use as soon as the weather gets nice out.

Summer Band Workout Ideas are Endless

It’s true, summer band workout ideas are endless when it comes RBT and to prove it I just listed 10 workouts I will be doing this summer by myself, with our bootcamp, with a friend or with my athletes.

So not only are the workout ideas endless, so are the individuals you choose to do them with, which only adds to the training fun.

10 Summer Band Workout Ideas I’m Guaranteed to Do This Summer

1. Playground Workouts

A playground is the best place to attach bands because of all the round pipes. You could literally create an RBT Gym on any playground not to mention it could also be a awesome bootcamp training center.

Choose from any of these workout exercise options – Playground Band Workout

2. Vacation Workouts

Everyone enjoys traveling during the summer and along with that being outside during those travels.  Make sure you pack your bands because you don’t want to be caught having to go to a gym when the sun is out and sky is blue.  The RBT Travel Trainer System was created to provide you with plenty of ideas for all your big summer travel adventures.

3. Camping Workouts

We use to camp a lot when our children were younger. To train I would find a tree, hook up my band utility strap and training handles and knockout an attached band training workout.   Here is a simple one you can do on any old tree.

4. Strength-Run Workouts

The Runner Band Setup makes this work. A 1 Mile Run followed by a 10 Minute Single Band Circuit. Perform 4 total rounds to do what will be a pretty challenging strength workout.

5. Traditional Outdoor Circuit Workouts

Just getting outside and training, regardless of the location, is awesome. Any band will go where you need it to go to help you with your summer band workout ideas.  Plus if you have an old backpack, you will find that only adds to the challenge.  Try out this backpack – band workout.

6. Tough Mudder Workouts

To be ready to handle a Tough Mudder, you need to make sure your body is mobile, flexible and ready to move in multiple planes. Super Hero WorkoutsRBT will get you ready for that.

My suggestion would be to look at the Super HERO 28 Day Program and incorporate some of those workouts.

7. Garage Gym Workouts

Garage gym workouts are awesome because they allow you to train anytime and be outside but still have the benefit of a roof. Nothing like a rainy day workout in the garage.

8. Field Workouts

There is no better way to get after it than going out to a local football field and challenging the athlete in you.

My favorite – 10-100 yard runs in 20 seconds followed by a 40 second rest, followed up with a 15-minute single band circuit.

9. Stadium Workouts

Stadium stairs bring out the intensity but do you know what the best thing about stadium stair workouts is?? Having rails to do attached band workouts in between runs.

10. Partner Workouts

If you are looking for partner band training options, there is no better than the Ring of Fire.

Summary

I know this is a little overwhelming but if you apply just 3 of these summer band training ideas, you can imagine how much fun it will be to stay fit, get stronger, lose fat and have fun getting BETTER.
