You truly want to help your subscribers to get healthier.

Thank you Dave. I’m grateful for you! Your emails are consistent, honest and so helpful. You’re not like all the other subscriptions that just want to sell me something. You truly want to help your subscribers to get healthier. I’m so appreciative. I hope your holiday is blessed and that you will be surrounded by family and friends!

Be safe, be well, be kind,

I will say, since I discovered you, my workouts have been more enjoyable.

Dave.

I make it a point to get a workout in 3 to 4 days per week. Not that I particularly enjoy working out, just that I dislike the alternative even more.

I will say, since I discovered you, my workouts have been more enjoyable. They allow me to follow a good program, and provide good efficiency. You also motivate me to keep going by sending regular emails with your  inspiring words.

Keep up the great work, Dave.

Thanks for what you do!

I still play competitive handball and these workouts help me stay relevant!

Dave,

Just wanted to say I really enjoy the flexibility, mobility, cardio, & strength workouts that can easily be used as is or slightly modified for older guys like me. I still play competitive handball and these workouts help me stay relevant!

I have never been as consistent working out and feeling better, losing fat, and getting healthier than I have with the Band Gym!

I have degenerative discs in my back so using the bands has definitely helped get me back on track.

David I’m 48 and have been working exclusively with the bands.  I find I’m not stiff or in pain after work outs.  Just out of shape.   I just add in more time or increase the band strength.  I have degenerative discs in my back so using the bands has definitely helped get me back on track.

Thanks for your support emails and telling us how the band workouts help your life.

I could not have known then how much RBT would change my entire approach to fitness long after the gym reopened.

Dear Dave,

Thanks for sending out this great email. We have much in common: I am your age, we both lost our fathers at about the same time, and we both “discovered” Outlive that same year.

Like many of your other followers, I was a dedicated gym bro who found RBT during the lockdowns. I thought it would be a temporary alternative to tide me over until the gym reopened. I could not have known then how much RBT would change my entire approach to fitness long after the gym reopened.

One point you have touched on that I’d love to see you get into more is the unimportance of load. Nearly every male fitness “influencer” writes about the importance of always “lifting to failure.” They define “failure” as the inability to do one more rep— or the point at which form breaks down out of sheer fatigue.  I used to feel like I wasn’t doing enough if I finished every set and didn’t get sore afterwards. Maybe that breakdown is a fine way for someone in their 20’s or 30’s to get jacked. But in my 60’s, I call it “training to stupidity.” Your programs and band work helped me get away from that mindset. I still lift weights 3-4 days a week, but bands are also part of every session.

I hope that in the coming year, you keep showing us ways to improve movement quality.  Your programs have kept me pain-free, injury-free, and guilt-free for all my early 60’s. With your help, I hope to stay that way. Keep up the great work.

Cheers,

I am a 73 year old man who competes in masters track and field meets…..I would say 90 – 95% of my strength work is with bands, and I can compete with most people in my age group at the national level

Hi Dave,

I just wanted to say how much I love working with bands since I became part of your emails.  I am a 73 year old man who competes in masters track and field meets; the shot put, discus, javelin, weight and hammer throw more specifically.  Obviously technique and strength events.  I would say 90 – 95% of my strength work is with bands, and I can compete with most people in my age group at the national level.  I’m not saying this to brag, but to let you know that your techniques work.

Please don’t feel you have to answer, just wanted to say thank you!

I’ve been using Dave’s bands since 2006.

I’ve been using Dave’s bands since 2006. I’ve got multiples of each color.  Dave’s bands are nice and stretchy. That’s what you want. Cheap bands are like using a piece of rope. I can tell immediately if a band is cheap.  You can feel it.  I use mine brother!  I’ve got his bands all over my house. Bands are something you DON’T want to save money on, you get what you pay for.  Love them for stretching, joint distractions, and most of all that sweet pump from the workout!

Thanks for all the content Dave!
