Resistance Band Core Workout
in 10 Minute or Less
Without your core your body simply cannot perform at a high level. I know there is a lot of emphasis still put on sit-ups and crunches but honestly I think it is because they make you feel like you are working.
See crunches give you that “ab burn” that so many fitness enthusiasts look for. It also creates a little increased heart rate which also adds to the overall perception that work is being done.
Well my feeling is you can accomplish that same thing with a resistance band core workout like what I am about to show you and avoid loading the vertebral disc with unnecessary stress.
The key to making this resistance band core workout feel like work is to push yourself into higher levels of progression. Don’t be satisfied with pacing yourself just so you get it done.
I tell my campers this all the time.
Attack the core like you do your favorite workout. If you do it will not be just doing abs but will become a total energy system experience.

10 seconds on 5 seconds off x 30 sets. You choose the level of progression but by 10 reps you better be feeling a little uncomfortable.
