Fitness Bands For Youth Mini-Football Camp – Part 3 - 6th August 2010

I realize for many of you, that your goal when it comes to using fitness bands is not to run a Youth Football Mini-camp.  Nor is it to have your own Adult Fitness Band Bootcamp.

So to you guys, I apologize if I have bored you with these past few posts but I thought many of the trainers and coaches who follow RBT may be interested in how they could do a simular camp to raise money for a charity and help out getting a group of young footballers ready to start the season.

Also I thought many of my fitness professionals would appreciate how to leverage this camp to get people interested in their adult camps.

Resistance fitness bands are perfect for fitness bandsand kids enjoy training in them as well.

That said here is what your next step is after you have completed the 3 day mini-camp.

After the camp I send out an email that basically thanks all the parents for letting me work with their son.   I also let them know that its time for them to get ready for the season as well by getting themselves in shape. So to help with this I invite them to a special 2 or 3 week fitness band mini camp that I am hosting just for them.

The cost is $20 with all the money going towards equipment for the high school and youth football programs.

Thats it.  Very easy and does not take much time.   Once you get that camp set up, now you just do your thing and make sure they all have a positive experience at the mini-camp.  While they are taking part in the camp, make sure you get them using resistance bands and let them know that you train a lot using bands to improve their athleticsm which means improved flexibility, improve reactive strength and improved metabolic conditioning for optimal fat lose.

After completing the mini-camp, let them know about your regular adult camps or maybe even start a new time slot just for them.

My goal locally is to continue to build a fitness and performance community that every member of a family can benefit from.
